Staying up is Not a good way to do homework

Tue Jun 9, 2009, 12:04 PM
But that is what we do when we have imminent deadlines. Or is that just me?
Currently playing with acrylics, dry pastels, pencils and print making.

For my celebrity project: Jackie Chan (he's awesome. anyone who disagrees is merely ignorant of his awesomeness) and incidentally, I didn't wan't to do David Bowie or Johnny Depp because their faces are too pretty for me to attack with my skillz. (I like pencils, fineliners, ballpoints, white out and sometimes wacom. haven't ventured into the realms of "other media" much. It doesn't like me.

Paint brushes are snobs. hmph.

and for my collaborative project I managed to end up doing it solo (go me!) (well honestly, working with other people, playing nicely with the other kids...Must I? I swear I can do it when motivated by monetary carrots, but for university why bother?

No. Bad Jacinta. You should learn how cooperate with others and function within units of humans...

Maybe next time.. :D

For now I decided I'll just write up how I collaborated with photographers and how I'm organising to combine my illustrations with their images.

one I'm doing nowish (when I have a respite from uni) involved me being painted white torso up and covered with blue lines in paint applied in a ballpoint pen kinda way. You know, a pen sketch on a iwhite piece of paper. Dyed hair reddish for an interest contrast.

It's great, photo's aren't up yet but I look like an undead freak.

I'm going to illustrate some wings (sketched in pen) to add on somehow.

Good Morning class, it's show and tell time^^ *yay*

Now, who wants to go first?

Okay...yes Jacinta, up you come.

*pause*

Hello everyone! During my holidays I did nothing much, looked after my uncle's house, played with his kitty. And now I'm back at uni. Hmm, what else? Oh, I've entered a competition (actually, not sure if you win anything, think it just gets put on display) to design a comic book cover. Ideas anyone?

One girl I know is doing a sailormoon spoof.
I'm thinking...actually I haven't thunk yet ^^'

Also right now I am wishing a friend of mine lots of love and energy, she's going to get better soon (Itold her to do so and she nodded so she can't backtrack now!)

hospitals are weird places, very disturbing. Not that I don't have great respect for doctors, just the environment they work in is...hospital-like. you know?

Umm, nothing much else. Popping over to brissie briefly next weekend for a shoot. (bang bang) and then back here for more work and uni. hohum.

thabkyou for your attention class! Sorry I don't have much to show, I'll put up some of the drawings I have lying around soon okie?

I mean, just thinking. been on this lil ol' planet for nearly a quater of a century now. (23 is nearly 25, kinda).
I feel I should have acheived something...I mean, I guess I could've popped out a kid by now (which is a miraculously wonderful thing if you do a decent job of it, but I'm not getting into that cup of tea until later down the track) And you probably need to chose some sorts of a partner/ sperm doner too hey. And I'd want really good quality of course, good genes. Maybe if they were endowed with supernatural powers they'd fit the bill. hmm.

Anyway, I'm sure I should've done *something* by now. as to what, why, I haven't the faintest. Finished FFX? (working on it, got sidetracked for about 8 months but back at it now) build a nifty monument to my god (wait, I don't have one of those...and if I did I don't think my deity would want a monument....maybe a blood offering...)

what was my point?

oh, I'm turning 23 on july 12th. (it's just not as exciting as when I was six dammit)

Uni holidays

Wed Apr 16, 2008, 1:02 AM
Yay! Uni holidays! well, that doesn't mean much to me as I'm only doing the one subject, oh well. But I have my joyful job at the supermarket to keep me entertained anyway (JOYFUL i say!)

I'm wondering if I should start seperating my art into different groups. That's the problem with having no particular style, everything's all over the place. But I could do groups like
"cute creature things"
"manga style art"
"abstract......oh man, actually I have no idea.

think I'll just stick to uploading things randomly, yay!

thankyou for watching or looking through my art, I love sharing it with you :D
(sorry, was that too sappy? but I do mean it otherwise all my sketchies would just be floating around in my room or binned)

About a Pen

Mon Mar 17, 2008, 3:23 AM
I wrote this epic story for a friend of mine :iconlloy0103:
but I hope you enjoy it as well

Once there was a Pen; it had no Nib. It went on a quest to find a Nib that would truly fit. On the way the Pen met a Stapler and its little Staple minions, and then a Mobile Phone who thought it was the very height of haute couture, but wasn't.

The Pen and its entourage quested until their quest was at an end.

And lo and behold, there was the Nib that fitted the Pen truly.

But alas to say that the Pen was not to enjoy its new Nib. For you see, on that arduous quest, it had been dripping ink along the way.

splotch splotch splotch.

So then, by the time the Pen obtained the Nib it was all for nothing.

For the Pen had dried up.

the End.

NB unless, of course, the Pen was to be re-inked...but that's another story.
